200 Yuan Per Ton. Several Major White Card Paper Manufacturers Will Raise Prices After The Spring Festival.

Recently, several major white card paper manufacturers such as Jielong Paper Industry, APP (China), Bohui Paper Industry, WanGuo Paper Industry, and Asia Pacific Forest Products (Jiangsu) have successively issued price increase notices, announcing that they will raise the price of white card paper by 200 yuan per ton in late February or early March.
As the Spring Festival approaches, most paper mills are either already in or about to enter their annual maintenance shutdown period. This is beneficial for the increase in paper prices on the supply side. As Jilong Paper Industry stated in its price increase letter, "Due to the continuous increase in operating costs, the business pressure of the enterprises has increased. Moreover, in January and March, the mainstream manufacturers underwent maintenance shutdowns, reducing the supply volume by approximately 120,000 tons."
This collective price increase occurred right after the Spring Festival holiday. The timing of this move reflects the sales strategy of the paper mills - it implies the intention to stimulate sales, encouraging customers to accelerate their purchasing pace. This not only helps to alleviate inventory pressure but also reserves space for potential market fluctuations in the future.
